Escoat WPM 80 Release Coat is a non-silicone, polyvinyl acrylic water-based emulsion which provides an extremely low adhesion-to-backing (ATB) and unwind values. Escoat WPM 80 is designed for aggressive natural rubber, hot melt, or solvent SIS adhesives. Designed for release coatings on crepe kraft tapes, Escoat WPM 80 coatings also have a strong wetting and adhesion performance with PET. Escoat WPM 80 is useful for general-purpose tapes where an aqueous coating is needed. With peel values as low as many all silicone coatings Escoat WPM 80 coatings provide a good non-migrating alternative to the silicone treatments. By blending Escoat WPM 80 coating with other Escoat WPM products, a variety of peel/ATB values can be achieved.

Advantages:
