The addition of PVC processing aids B-23 to rigid PVC formulations is a processing aid based on a high molecular weight polymethacrylate resin. B-23 improves the processability and the performances of PVC formulations.
Performance:
B-23 has weatherable applications and is widely used in PVC building products.
B-23 is mainly used in PVC profiles, foam pipe, foam profiles, foam sheet, wood composites, etc.
Addition levels for this application are 5-8 phr(PVC 100 phr).
Performance:
- Promotes gelation of PVC, improves hot-melt strength and visco-elasticity, stabilizes the microcells generated by blowing agents to achieve the low density and high strength of the foam. It also increases the surface quality of PVC products.
- Better dispersion of additives into PVC, more homogenous melt of PVC, etc.
B-23 has weatherable applications and is widely used in PVC building products.
B-23 is mainly used in PVC profiles, foam pipe, foam profiles, foam sheet, wood composites, etc.
