Product Description | |
Technirez® RME-912 is solid epoxy adduct of a"4" type solid diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A and a carboxyl terminated butadiene acrylonitrile elastomer. Since RME-912 is epoxy functional, it is compatible with all epoxy formulations that can allow the usage a low - melting high elastomer content resin. RME-912 is easily dissolved with a variety of solvents such as MEK, Toluene and Xylene. Due to its high elastomer content, significant improvements in impact resistance, thermal shock resistance and fatigue resistance may be seen when used alone or in combination with other epoxy resins. RME-912 is the ideal additive for use in Powder Coatings, Composites and Prepregs as well as adhesives, where high impact resistance is required.RME-912 is available as a tan chip or pellet, or also as a 100 micron average particle size powder.
