AFCONA - 3730 is especially suitable for clearcoat and pigmented system, particularly in:
Product Properties:
- AFCONA - 3730 is a high molecular weight polyester polymer with good leveling property. It has very good compatibility with all the oil free polyester resins that used in can coating, thus it is very suitable as good leveling agent for clearcoat and pigmented coating as it will not give haze, orange peel and other side effects to the coating.
- Besides can coating, it also has very good compatibility with polyurethane, epoxies, baking paint, and alkyd based resins.
Using AFCONA - 3730 gives the below advantages:
- Excellent leveling
- No influent on final gloss as it has very good compatibility
- No in-can haziness
- No recoatable problem
- High temperature resistance, up to 300°C
- Contain OH group that can cross linking to the system where it will not give plasticizing effect as other leveling agent. This maintaining the same physical and chemical resistance.
AFCONA - 3730 is especially suitable for clearcoat and pigmented system, particularly in:
- coil and can coatings, especially can coating
- two-pack epoxy compounds
- polyurethane coatings
- baking paint based on alkyd, oil free polyester and thermosetting acrylic
- air-drying alkyd systems
- thermoplastic acrylic, but limit compatible
