Broadview's and Polynt's Anhydride MTHPA/600, manufactured by Polynt SpA, is a blend of methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride (MTHPA) and hexa hydrophthalic anhydride (HHPA), that has been especially developed for filament winding applications. MTHPA/600 excels in the field of reinforced plastics, on account of its superior wetting ability for fiberglass as well as a competitive price/performance ratio. In addition, due to its excellent insulation properties, MTHPA/600 is frequently used in the production of electrical parts. Furthermore, the lower amount of double bonds contributes to better outdoor weatherability.
