Composition: Tetramethyl thiuram monosulphide
Uses: Accicure MS is a fast accelerator often used as a booster for good processing safety in comparison with other thiurams. Unlike thiuram disulphides, the monosulphides do not produce satisfactory cures in complete absence of elemental sulphur. Typical dosage: 0.2 - 0.5 phr. In polychloroprene rubbers, Accicure MS(1.0 phr)used with DPG or DOTG (1.0 phr) and sulphur (0.5 phr) gives a curing system which is a useful alternative to ethylene thiourea (ETU). It offers better processing safety with similar curing activity.
