II Properties and uses

Colourless, transparent oily liquid, b.p.283°C(3mmHg), viscosity 100~300 c.p.(20°C), refractive index 1.4485(25°C).

Used as a heat-endurant and long-lasting plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, usually for preparing Grade 105°C electrical cable and other heat-resisting plastic products.

It possesses both advantages being used as plasticizer for polyesters and for general purposes. Except producing oil-resisting ones, also used in preparing any long-lasting products.
