- A superior cold-resisting plasticizer, it has good plasticizing effect and better heat endurance, light-resisting and electrical properties. It is chiefly used in processing polyvinl chloride and its copolymer, cellulosic resins and synthetic rubbers, etc.
- It is usually mixed with phthalic esters in use to minimize its migration rate.
