Lubricant and dispersing agent
COMPOSITION: Blend of fatty acid soaps and amides RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION: ULTRA-PLAST™ TP01 contains an amide, which has reactive sites available for hydrogen bonding and can therefore act as a coupling agent between polymer and filler. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP01 acts as an efficient blending and dispersing agent in highly filled systems, leading to a more homogenous initial mix. At processing conditions it is an effective lubricant for polyolefins like PVC, PS, ABS and several TPO systems. Applications recommended for ULTRA-PLAST™ TP01 include highly filled TPE and TPO compounds, filled olefins, flame retarded systems and colour concentrates. In addition, it can be used in unfilled polymers where reduced viscosity and improved flow under processing conditions are desired. In many cases, better surface appearance and more uniform mould shrinkage can be observed. |
