AFCONA 3777E
Product Properties:
- AFCONA-3777E is the better compatibility version of AFCONA 3777. Recommended asnon-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems.However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.
- Note: AFCONA-3777E is one of the first developments of fluorocarbon modified acrylics and therefore later developments of AFCONA show improved performances.
- Due to the fluorocarbon modification, it gives lower surface tension than normal pure polyacrylic leveling agents and therefore it gives better anti-crater performance and substrate wetting.
AFCONA-3777E:
- improves leveling
- prevents craters
- helps substrate wetting
- does not interfere with intercoat adhesion
AFCONA-3777E is suitable for all solvent based coatings especially for:
- baking paints (as leveling and anti-crater agent)
- PU coatings (as leveling, anti-crater and anti inner bubble agent)
- epoxies (as leveling and anti-crater agent)
