AFCONA 3770
Product Properties:
- AFCONA-3770 is a fluorocarbon modified acrylic polymer. Besides acting as an effective leveling agent, it also gives strong defoaming effect as well as anti-crater properties. In most systems the defoaming effect is less than AFCONA - 3775, but better than AFCONA - 3777 or AFCONA - 3670. The anti-crater performance is almost similar to AFCONA - 3777 or AFCONA - 3670.
AFCONA-3770:
- Improves leveling performance
- prevents foam formation
- works as de-aerator and defoamer
- improves substrate wetting and anti-crater performance
- does not interfere with intercoat adhesion
AFCONA - 3770 is suitable for a solvent-based coatings especially for:
- 2 pack PU coatings
- 2 pack epoxies
- Air drying alkyd paints
- All baking enamels, especially coil and can coatings where the defoaming effect is highly needed
- Matt finish wood coatings and sealers
- Not suitable for unpigmented high gloss systems, due to the high defoaming effect, it will give in-can haziness.
