OL-AT 1618 is a kind of aluminum and titanium composite coupling agent having the characters of aluminate and titanate coupling agents concurrently. Owing to the character of bimetal central atoms structure, OL-AT 1618 shows more excellent coupling effects compared to the above traditional ones, nd further enhances the compatibility of inorganic compound and polymer, reduces the viscosity of the filler system, increases the filler loading of inorganic fillers in polymer, and improves mechanical and physical processing properties.

Application & Features:

OL-AT1618 is suitable for superficial activation of inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate,talcum powder, kaoline, and its shallow colour, solid form, high coupling activation and convenient conveyance relative to the traditionalcouplingagents make it especially useful in the conventional polymer-filled systems of PVC/calcium carbonate, PP/talcum. Furthermore, OL-AT 1618 can be useful in the systems(e.g. coatings, printing ink, masterbatch, etc.) to enhance the dispersibility and color ductility of pigment. The recommended level is 0.5-2.5% of filler loading, which can activate fillers and be incorporated with the resins as well.
