UV-419 is a brand-new sort of UV absorbers. It absorbs the short wavelength (UV-B) part of the UV spectrum and the maximum of absorption is 308nm. UV-419 has stronger UV absorption than any other breed of UV absorbers (e.G.hydroxyl-substituted benzotriazole and benzophen one, etc.), which protects polymers from light degradation more efficiently. Moreover, UV-419 shows satisfying synergistic effects with hindered amine light stabilizers(HALS).

Application & Features:

UV-419 can be used in various plastic(i.e. PC, PS, and PVC), industrial coatings, and architectural coatings for light stabilization. The recommended level of UV-419 is 0.3%. UV-419 is better than Tinuvin 123 and Tinuvin 770 when used in the 1.2mm PVC sheets, and is better than Tinuvin900 and Cyasorb 1164 when used in 1.0mmPC sheets in the above level.The combination of UV-419 with HALS(i.e. Tinuvin 123) shows perfect light stability and discoloration resistance when used in HIPS, automobile surface paint and carpet paint, etc.
