Flame Retardant, FR-001, is high phosphorous containing, oligomeric phosphonate flame retardant that can be used in a variety of applications requiring the highest standards of flame resistance. FR-001 can be used at load levels far below those of other organophosphorus containing flame retardants. This results in improved physical properties of the finished product. FR-001 is useful as a replacement for, or in combination with other flame retardants such as brominated epoxy resins. FR-001 is useful in combination with Phenolics and Epoxies. Resins Systems containing FR-001 will pass 64 OSU flame requirements as well as UL flame requirements.
