Accicure MBTS is a fast curing accelerator giving vulcanisates with ultimate properties closely similar to those of Accicure MBT. The most noticable difference is the much greater scorch resistance of Accicure MBTS. Like Accicure MBT, Accicure MBTS gives extremely good ageing properties; it is practically non-staining and similarly needs the addition of stearic acid to function at its maximum efficiency. In combination with guanidines, thiurams and dithiocarbamates, it gives rapid curing but safe mixtures, In Neoprene, it serves as an antiscorch agent. Typical usage in rubber varies from 1.0 - 1.5 phr.
