Composition: N-cyclohexyl thio phthalimide (CTP)
Accitard RE is a novel scorch inhibitor for rubber stocks containing reinforcing furnace blacks and thereby helps in extrusion and calendaring operations at higher processing temperatures. It is effective with both thiazole and sulphenamide accelerators. Dosage of Accitard RE in rubber compounds would vary from 0.1 to 0.3 phr depending on the degree of scorch safety required.
