Among the Preniphor™ EPFR-APP(II) series Nitrogen-phosphorus inorganic flame retardants, Preniphor™ EPFR-APP223 is a kind of high polymerization degree, crystal type II ammonium polyphosphate without activating and surface treatment. It has high content of Phosphorus & Nitrogen, excellent thermal stability, near-neutral and non-toxic smoke property. With gas source and carbon source, it takes effect by char formation and intumescent mechanism.

Preniphor™ EPFR-APP223 is very suitable for epoxy resin. Compared with similar commercial products, at the same dosage, it has smaller but more stable viscosity and better glossiness. With Preniphor™ EPFR-APP223, epoxy can pass UL 94 V-0 and related requirements of NF P 92 501, DIN 5510 and EN 13501 -1.

When applied in epoxy, Preniphor™ EPFR-APP223 does not need drying and grinding, otherwise the flame retardant efficiency would be affected.
