Among the Preniphor™ EPFR-APP(II) series Nitrogen-phosphorus inorganic flame retardants, Preniphor™ EPFR-APP263TP is a kind of high polymerization degree, crystal type II ammonium polyphosphate encapsulated with melamine formaldehyde based on Preniphor™ EPFR-APP224. This product has very low water solubility; even in the high temperature, it is still completely insoluble to the organic solvent. Preniphor™ EPFR-APP263TP has high content of Phosphorus & Nitrogen, excellent thermal stability, near-neutral and non-toxic smoke property. With gas source and carbon source, it takes effect by char formation and intumescent mechanism.

Preniphor™ EPFR-APP263TP is treated with melamine formaldehyde resin based on Preniphor™ EPFR-APP224TP, This product has very low water solubility, even in the high temperature, It is still completely insoluble to the organic solvent. It can be applied in almost all the applications, and it is especially recommended to intumescent coating, fabric coating and thermosetting resins (epoxy resin, unsaturated resin and etc.) with high water-resistance requirement.
