Ammonium polyphosphate (APP) is a kind of high efficient halogen-free flame retardant. It is tasteless, non-toxic, no corrosive gas and high heat stable. APP is widely used in intumescent coating, PE, PP, PU, Epoxy resins, rubber products, fiber board and dry powder fire extinguishing agent.
HT-208W is produced by a special method and surface modified on the basis of ammonium polyhoshate(phase II) , the special treatment attribute its better flame retardancy, excellent water resistant, good thermal stability and improve its compatibility in PP. In short, properties of water resistant APP are superior to ordinary APP.
