APS-215 fluid is a reactive silicone oil used as a synthetic base, diluent or additive for silicone elastomers. Due to the highly reactive hydroxyl end groups, APS-215 may be easily cross-linked into linear polymers using suitable catalysts. The incorporation of silicon hydroxyl groups into the formulation greatly increases the crosslinking and reaction rates.
